Our club and committee
About us
The West Milford Democratic Club and Municipal Committee work together to serve the residents of our town by campaigning in elections, advocating for causes, participating in government, and sponsoring acts of public service.
Our members are ordinary people who love our town and want to make life better for everyone, economically, ecologically, and even socially.
We endeavor to unite people around common causes, tackle the real issues in our community, and represent all residents in our government.
Our ultimate goal is to ensure we have an inclusive and fair democracy where everyone thrives.
We meet the fourth Wednesday of the month at different members' homes. Please sign up for meeting locations and times.

THIS YEAR. AND EVERY YEAR.
Annual High School Scholarship
We invite West Milford High School Senior Class students to submit a written essay for the opportunity to win a cash scholarship which they can use towards their post-high school education.
The essay question is:
If you could solve one issue facing West Milford, what would it be and what would be your solution?
We are currently seeking donations to make sure we can give at least $500. Please donate any amount with the button to the left.

West Milford First Initiative
West Milford First is a CPC (Continuing Political Committee) with the purpose of putting a referendum on the ballot to return West Milford's government to a non-partisan, ward system.
While this is not a Democratic initiative and the CPC is chaired by a Republican and Democrat, we do support this effort. We believe a one-party system only encourages corruption and abuses of power.
